once upon a time
………………...........in a Magical Kingdom Far, Far Away, the only hotels available were for the very wealthy with had long waiting lists.  But Walt Disney has changed all of that and staying on Walt Disney World resort property is often your most economical option.

Because Disney provides buses from their resorts to the theme parks, Water Parks, and Downtown Disney, you no longer need a rental car during your stay.

Disney now provides free transportation to and from the Orlando Airport when you stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel called Disney's Magical Express.

As part of your Itinerary & Park Planning (IPP) Service, Build a Better Mouse Trip will show you the Value, Moderate, and Deluxe hotel options.  We can provide information about the Fort Wilderness Campground or help you rent points to stay at one of the wonderful Disney Vacation Club properties.

We will study your plans to determine whether a package or a resort-only reservation is best for you.

Once you've made a decision, we are happy to secure a reservation for you.

We are not travel agents and do not earn any commissions from Walt Disney World.  Our only motivation is to help you have a wonderful experience at Walt Disney World.

Important Tips

Be careful when using off-property shuttles. Their schedules do not generally run all day, and they may not fit in with your plans. The last run is often at park closing, so you end up missing some evening entertainment.
Insulin dependant diabetics and other Disney hotel guests with medications requiring refrigeration will be able to use a mini-refrigerator for free, even in resorts – like the value resorts - that generally charge for this service.   Be sure to request one when you make your reservation.
Refillable Mugs at the Disney Resort food courts – most of the hotels have 12-ounce plastic mugs that can be purchased for about $12.00 and can be refilled with soda, coffee, iced tea, or hot chocolate as often as you want at no charge for the duration of your stay.  These refills are only available at the resort food courts and are not available in the theme parks.
At most Disney resorts, only guests of the hotel may that hotel's pool.  The All-Star resorts are the exception – Music, Movies, and Sports are considered three sections of the same complex so any All-Star guest may use any All-Star pool.
Disney's Magical Express is the wonderful free shuttle service to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Disney resorts. This service is not available to guests of the Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Shades of Green, or Downtown Disney area resorts.
Have you been shopping? Disney resort guests never need to carry their packages around – purchases from Disney shops can be sent directly to your resort and will arrive the next day. Your phone will have a flashing light and a recorded message will let you know when and where they are available for pick-up.
Hotel guests have free parking at the Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks. This is a savings of about $10 per day. We still recommend that you use Disney buses to and from the Magic Kingdom because the buses drop you off at the front gate. Magic Kingdom parking requires an additional transfer by either monorail or ferry boat and the wait for these can be lengthy during peak seasons.
