April 2008 Special Events,
Activities and Alerts at Walt Disney World Resort
April is such a wonderful month to visit the Walt Disney World ® Resort. The weather is generally warm enough to enjoy the resort swimming pool and water parks but not as hot or humid as the summer months. Most of the winter repairs and refurbishments are complete and the flowers – as always – look wonderful. The dates for school and college Spring Breaks vary widely will create high April crowd levels in the first half of the month.
We are encountering limited availability at certain resorts and restaurants so it is very important that we get your plans set as soon as possible.
CROWD RELATED WARNINGS:
Spring Break: The crowds will start building in March and will continue into the first two weeks of April. You can manage these crowds and still have a great vacation by having a good touring plan. We create custom touring plans that keep you ahead of the crowds and out of the long lines and we can even do it completely free of charge when you book your trip through us. It may still be possible to get free plans if you booked your trip yourself – just contact us and ask about the possibility. For more information see Our Full Service page
Spring Break Dining: We are well into the dining reservation window for your trip and some popular restaurants may already be completely booked. Please contact me right away about making dining or hotel reservations.
Extra Crowds during Nights with SpectroMagic Parade at Magic Kingdom® Theme Park : The Magic Kingdom Theme Park closes early on certain nights limiting the nights that the SpectroMagic P arade is offered. Nights with the SpectroMagic Parade will be busier as the afternoon progresses because guests with Park Hopper ® Option tickets will make their way over to the Magic Kingdom Theme Park for this popular parade.
